Chronicle Selorm Kwabla Attipoe who died in the first week of November as a result of suicide and untimely with all sorts of rumors and others but the question that really pop up in my mind is that;
Is Suicide Really The Only Option?
Because the way you see it, it’s just like running from one problem and jumping into another. Just like drunks, when they drink. They say they are trying to drowns or bury their sorrow, problem or griefs.
But when the drinks wears out, they are back where they left off-with the same problem, maybe even bigger. The problem doesn’t go away with drink, it says there and waits for them. And you feel that’s just the way suicide is.
You think you’re running a way from your problems or pain here. But trust me, you’re going to face an even bigger problem there-especially when you meet the “ Big Man’’ up there to judge your matter.
I might not be able to understand your grief because my shoes don’t fit in, but trust me, there are people who have it worse – but have decided to rugged it or stay positive, no matter what. And yes, I know it’s not easy I’ve been there a couple times and I know it’s not easy to snap out of that feeling of worthlessness and move on with a smiling face while hurting inside. It’s not easy to bear the weight of the entire world and decided to move on nonetheless.
It’s not easy to have the world against you and act strong. It’s not easy to lose it all but not lose the one thing you despise so much – your life. It’s not easy at all, this I know cause I’ve been there. But is suicide what you Really Want Now?
If you could have it another way, would you still choose suicide?
What makes suicide the only option?
Answer sincerely, and make a decision to choose life, no matter what. Because I don’t care how you see it or what anyone else mast have told you or made you believe in the past – YOU MATTER, maybe just don’t know it yet. And I pray that your eyes be opened to see this truth. Love, Light and Tight Hugs.
LOVE AND TIME
Once upon a time, there was an Island where all the feelings lived. Happiness, sadness, knowledge and all of the others, including love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.
Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment. When the island had almost sunk sunk, love decided to ask for help.
Richness was passing by love in a grand boat. Love said, “Richness, can you take me with you?’’ Richness answered, “No, I can’t. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you’’
Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel “ Vanity, please help me!’’ “I can’t help you, love- You are all wet and might damage my boat, “ Vanity answered. Sadness was close by so love asked, “Sadness, let me go with you.”
“Oh….love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!’’
Happiness passed by love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her. Suddenly, there was a voice, “ Come, Love, I will take you.’’
It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forget to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owned by the elder, Love ask knowledge, another elder, “who help me?’’ “ It was Time,” Knowledge answered. “ Time?’’ asked Love. “ But why did Time help me?
Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, “ Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is.
PATIENCE
A man came out of his home to admire his new car.
To his puzzlement, his four - Year - old son was happily hammering dents into the shiny paint of the car. The man ran to his son, knocked him away, and hammered the little boy's hands into pulp as punishment.
When the father calmed down, he rushed his son to the hospital. Although the doctor tried desperately to save the crushed bones, he finally had to amputate fingers from boy's both hands.
When the boy finally woke up from the surgery and his bandaged stubs, he innocently said, ''Daddy, I'm sorry about your new car." Then he asked, ''But when are my fingers going to grow back?"
His father went home and committed suicide.
Think about the story, the next time someone steps on your feet or you wish to take revenge. Then first before you lose your patience with someone you love. Cars can be repaired. Broken bones and hurt feelings often can't.
Too often we, fail to recognize the difference between the person and the performance. We forget that forgiveness is greater that revenge.
